Warranty Policy

Effective as of 1 July 2021

Depending on the product, Camps & Apparels Corporation Sdn Bhd, the brand owner of Outpost Command & Combat Action, offers a Limited Warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use as described in the published product documentation for 1 year from the date of initial purchase. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.

This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in Malaysia and will apply only if you have purchased the product from us or our authorised resellers.

 

Outpost Command & Combat Action dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Outpost Command & Combat Action products do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of the warranty. Please refer to your product for the exact terms and conditions of the limited warranty for your purchase. The warranty included with your purchased product is your exclusive warranty.

Please ensure that you retain your receipt as this document will be necessary for you to exercise your warranty rights. If a product is replaced during the Warranty Period, the replacement product  will be warranted for the remainder of the Warranty Period of the original product.

 

Exclusions

The Warranty does not apply to non-Outpost Command & Combat Action products, even if packaged or sold with the selected Outpost Command & Combat Action product that is covered by the Limited Warranty , and does not apply to any counterfeit product.

 

Others exclusions include:

  1. Defects that come from normal wear and tear, dents, scratches, fading, paint chips

  2. Defects caused by accident including dropped product, neglect, abuse, misuse (including failure to follow instructions regarding care and maintenance of the product), misapplication, disassembly, or non-Outpost Command & Combat Action products;

  3. Defects caused by exposure to extreme natural conditions, liquids, or gases;

  4. Defects caused by handling by third parties (such as postal service, airlines, hotels, etc.);

  5. Defects caused by service (including repairs) performed by anyone other than a Outpost Command & Combat Action authorized representative;

  6. Defects caused by a modification of a product without Outpost Command & Combat Action’s permission;

  7. Defects due to  external causes such as, but not limited to, water damage, exposure to sharp objects, exposure to excessive force, anomalies in the electrical current supplied to the product (if applicable), and extreme thermal or environmental conditions;

  8. If the product serial number has been removed or defaced, or if the displayed serial number does not correspond to the nature, type, or origin of the product.

Limitation of warranty

THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Outpost Command & Combat Action SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Outpost Command & Combat Action DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT PRODUCT THAT MEETS ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS AND FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT.

This Warranty is only extended to the original purchaser or gift recipient of a product.

Limitation of damages

Outpost Command & Combat Action IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (SUCH AS LOSS OF CONTENT, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, ETC.), OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE, CAUSED BY A PRODUCT DEFECT.

How to obtain warranty service

If you detect a defect in your Outpost Command & Combat Action product during the applicable Warranty Period, you should contact our Customer Service Department, as indicated in the “How to Contact Us” section below, for a replacement of your product.

 

When you contact the Customer Service Department, you will be asked to provide:

Your name;

Your address and telephone number;

Your receipt ;

The date of purchase;

A customer service representative will provide you with the relevant instructions on how to ship your product to us.  Do not return the product to us without authorization. You will be directed to attach a tag to the product that includes your name, address, contact number and description of the problem.

In case of repair or replacement, we will cover any cost of delivering the product back to you. However, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Outpost Command & Combat Action, including the costs of packaging, shipping, and applicable taxes.

Following receipt of the product, we will check the product and will issue a report indicating whether the product needs to be fixed or replaced and whether its defects are covered by the Warranty.

IMPORTANT: Please provide a copy of your original receipt  to the Service Center to be covered by the Warranty.

IMPORTANT: Before you deliver your product for warranty service, it is your responsibility to empty your products and verify that you have not left any object or item in the products, such as in its pockets. We are not responsible for any items left in products sent to us for repair or replacement.

 

Product Replacement

If the product needs to be replaced, we will keep the product and will arrange to give you the replacement directly. If the product is no longer available, we will substitute the product for a same price product chosen by you. In this case, a customer service representative will contact you to complete the acquisition of this new product.

If the product is irreparable and cannot be exchanged for an identical item, you will be provided with a refund.

If your Outpost Command & Combat Action product needs service or repair due to normal wear and tear, accident or some other reason that is not covered under the warranty we may provide the necessary service for a reasonable charge, plus shipping and handling. We require that products accepted for any repair be properly cleaned according to our recommended care instructions.

 

Ownership rights

When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes our property. When a refund is given, the returned product becomes our property.

Product specific exclusions

Footwear 

  • Wear and tear, including wear holes, snags and worn stitching.

  • Failure to adequately maintain the product, including proper cleaning and leather conditioning.

  • Alterations, modifications or repair work performed 

  • Products returned beyond the applicable warranty period, or used other than in the manner intended.

  • Damage caused by chemical or other foreign body contamination

  • Cuts, abrasions, or damage resulting from accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or from other than normal and ordinary use of the product.

  • Improper or inadequate fit (once footwear product has been worn/used) and comfort issues

  • Damage that is a result from misuse

  • Product past the normal one year warranty period

  • Product in which the boots has dried out and begun to disintegrate or change shape over a long period of time

  • Product in which soles have fallen off from not being worn and stored for long periods of time

  • Boots that are not worn for their intended use

  • Use of oils or fats on your boots will null and void your warranty. 

 

Watches

  • normal wear and tear such as scratches, abrasions, or alteration of the color and/or material of non-metallic straps

  • defects caused by rough handling

  • defects or damage resulting from use contrary to intended or recommended use, improper care, negligence, and accidents such as dropping or crushing;

  • printed materials and packaging;

  • defects or alleged defects caused by use with any product, accessory, software, and/or service not manufactured or supplied by OUTPOST Command

  • non-rechargeable batteries.

  • has been opened beyond intended use;

  • has been repaired using unauthorized spare parts; modified or repaired by unauthorized Service Center;

  • serial number has been removed, altered or made illegible in any way, as determined at the sole discretion of OUTPOST Command

  • has been exposed to chemicals including but not limited to sunscreen and mosquito repellents.

 

OUTPOST Command does not warrant that the operation of the Product or accessory will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Product or accessory will work with any hardware or software provided by a third party.
